Tavistock Friendly 21/03/09

On 21 March 09 Devonport Royal sent a team to Tavistock to take part in a 13/u friendly event. Devonport Royal’s team consisted of a mixture of seasoned competive swimmers and first-timers. Our more experienced swimmers performed very well. However, the new swimmers were not to be outshone and good performances in their first team galas from Rosie Elms, Alexandra Boughton, Nathan Gallagher, Liam Ward, Bethany Hughes, Jacob Keogh, Catherine Fairbanks, Joseph Keogh and Kieron Loveridge meant that Devonport Royal were able to take second place finishing agonising close to hosts Tavistock.
Many thanks to all poolside helpers and Mike MC for this report, results can be found in the Members pages of our website.
