The Bronze Medallion is a lifesaving award for all those over the age of 13 who wish to gain lifesaving skills. It can be used for the skills element of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and GCSE PE.
We are also able to run RLSS Award of Merit courses and life support (first aid) awards. The RLSS (Royal Lifesaving Society) who is a registered charity, governing body and the leading provider of training and education in lifesaving, lifeguarding, water safety and life support skills in the UK. In addition to the award opportunities we offer, we train hard for the competitions we take part in throughout the year. Those who have taken part in competitions have enjoyed the experience and always look forward to the next event.
Rookie Lifesaving is on a Friday evening in the diving pit at 7:30 until 9:00. We do half an hour of life support skills, then an hour of aquatic life saving skills.
